My summer vacation
初の海外はとても不安でしたが、それ以上にとても楽しかったです。
初日はシンガポールで一泊しました。
町の風景も日本と少しずつ違っていて面白かったです。
オーストラリア、パースに到着してホストファミリーと合流しました。
初め、ホストファミリーや初対面の人と英語で会話することは少し怖かったですが、
回を重ねていくごとに慣れることが出来たと思います。
日本では出来ない経験ができました。
学校で友達を作ったり、観光地で買い物をしたり
行く前は長いと思っていた２週間も、行ってみればあっという間でした。
One of my most impressive memories is getting lost near the camp site with a first grade Japanese student.
There was a residential area, so we couldn’t know how to get back to camp.
I was scared and anxious.
However, I had the courage to ask someone the way to the camp site.
I tried to speak to the woman, but my English was awkward.
She barely understood what I said.
In the end, we were able to go back thanks to the woman.
I think this experience is sure to be helpful in the future.
